is it really Peanut butter?

Theres a major frustration involved in trying to share with folks the deception in selling us processed foods . While it becomes complicated because of the many procedures that can come into Processing. . I’ve simplified a couple very easy ones that paint a very clear picture.

PEANUT BUTTER is a plain and simple Staple food that can provide quick and easy protein s , and has been widely used by moms across the planet to feed hungry kids on the bounce between school n supper time.. We trust our instincts and freely offer this to those we love. My Peanut butter , organic of course, shows ingredients of peanuts and a bit of salt. Take a moment now and go read the label on the jar in your cupboard. Find a few extra things in there??

Peanuts are a demand commodity, Harvested for their versatility. Very little care goes into providing nutrition for your kids. First priority is to crush and extract the peanut oils as it is widely used in many industries. Then we need to find a cheap Hydrogenated oil to put back into the peanut mush. And because it tends to separate now we can add a chemical to suspend it in the peanut mush. Now, we need to add a preservative so it wont spoil, and another to prevent caking, and another to make it appear like real peanut butter, and finally a nice label to make you think your buying,,,,,,,,,,,Peanut butter..

MILK is another food easy to see through. But milk is probably one of the more truthful labelers I’ve seen. When that cap color and label indicates 1 % you can bet there’s about one percent milk and 99 percent water.

Just Yesterday I picked up a gallon of whole Organic milk. But quickly put it back knowing full well if the kids saw the thickened cream on the top they would not drink it of . Conditioning in the food industry has cause a great  issue of complacency, and we have distanced ourselves from the need to know .   The real properties of real milk require it to be moving or it separate. When its taken from the cow its dumped into a stainless steel vat with a moving paddle that constantly keeps it moving. So, in order to sell you that nice even textured product found on grocers shelves, weather one percent, two percent or whole, they need to heat it first and destroy the chain enzymes then add suspending chemicals, and preserving chemicals and who knows what else. Until the real part of your milk is not very real anymore and much less nutritious.

Did you ever make potato chips at home?? Simply a matter of thin slicing a potato dropping it in boiling oil and tossing on a little Salt. If you’ll check the label on chips purchased in a store you’ll find a PARAGRAPH of ingredients. Is it any wonder our bodies cry out with Disease?? Cancers not some sneaky lil bug that Crawls up your sock n takes residence. You let him walk right in the front door. Moving away from cancer and disease can be as simple as making better choices. My potato chips cost me a buck more a bag, my milk about the same, overall, on average my food cost is 20 percent higher. The extra I pay for good whole foods for a year would be consumed by one visit to the Cancer Center.

Making better choices can simply mean examine what your eating and invest in yourself. You really are worth it. A.L.R.

THE STARS N STRIPES ARE TIRED

I stood alone in the Gray Dawn of this November morning, staring out across a quiet sky. A cold breeze my only companion, Off in the distance a huge American flag waving gently carrying the weight of an honored system. Old Memories carried me back to my school years and the many stories surrounding Her birth and design. The honor she once held. Even as school children we were taught that Old Glory was the bind that held us together and that to even let one corner of the stars n strips touch the ground was unacceptable, That to be An American was something very special. That huge cluster of stars represented a people rooted and grounded in the traditions of men who literally shed their own blood that I might live a free man. Those red strips represent the blood that was spilled by many men unselfishly so my kids might enjoy freedom today. NO, !! that was no typo MEN DIED for Old Glory, Family men, like your dad your brother gave up their very lives for the very same freedoms that We are letting a crooked Government take from us piece by piece.

I stood and watched Her, high above, watched Her Wave those strips. But I sense a weariness as She still stands Majestic in every way.

Think back with me to a picture still etched in your memory. A tattered n torn flag held up by the bloody hands of men fighting for your freedom, bodies on the ground, still clutching the pole, not willing to let go because of what she ment.

I am sickened by those who cannot, or will not see what’s happening today. If your so busy that you have no time to get involved, you deserve whats coming.

At this very moment, you are free to chose . but only because someone else gave their LIFE for you.

Glory still waves, but Shes tired and needs our help GET ENVOLVED

Looking past the Pain

Lately, I find my writings to lean more towards life and the stuff that comes down the pike. Things that effects our everyday lives. The Cancer information, seemingly still so valuable to me, tends to fall on deaf ears.

There is a very short phrase coined by this generation , that I think we all need to visit more often. It’s called “OWN IT”” Simple to learn, easy to remember, but very deep in content.
June 18th , this year ended a 13 yr cancer struggle for Jenny and I. And I’m left with a 3 pound box of ashes, fading memories, and a ton of questions . The attempts to get back to normal were futile, and it took a revelation from my youngest to put it in place. “normal is never going to be again Dad. ,We need to seek a new normal.”  Convinced she was right we began again, trying hard to patch up the old wounds and move on.   There are no options, life changes, you just need to 'Own it', N move on.

October 27th, four months later I stood with my son, in the lower level of his home. And watched helplessly while he tried to revive his wife of 20 years. I will never forget the look of desperation on his face as we tried everything possible to breath life back into this one who had bore his children and shared his life . In a few short moments all that used to be was gone, replaced by challenges so huge that even an attempt to think it through was overwhelming.
Kathy’s life now over, the first hurdle was to tell the kids. Much discussion and planning took place to make sure all avenues were investigated. That meeting took place in Al’s living room where a very simple and honest delivery of guarded facts were given to three very concerns kids.
A few whimpers and tears followed as an 8,11 and 12 year old tried to absorb the fact that Mom would never come home again. And within minutes of that  information, all three were on the trampoline, seeing who could outdo the other, tucking thoughts of Mom somewhere back behind the giggles.
Today is day eight of the new normal. Much of what used to be is gone. Replaced by a numbness that carries you from point A to point B in a function, non-function status. New routines begin to develop and Al assumes the roll of Mister Mom one step at a time.
He points to his chest and says, “did it hurt Dad in your chest, when Mom died?". The reply, “Yes Son it did, But it wont stay, it will get less n less.“  I can read the look on his face like a book. I can feel the pain in his eyes as if Jenny's passing was yesterday. But I can do nothing but be here to try and support him as the walls of the life they built together comes crashing down on him in waves so heavy they drove his dad into a bottle if only for a short time. This is my first born, a son so dear to me that I’d give my life for him. But I’m only allowed to watch.
I had asked the Lord one time, after the kids had left the nest. "What lord, What good am I now". His answer, "to keep them in prayer and covered by the blood of Christ". When Kathy died my son had said , “I don’t want to be alone Dad”. So I’m here, but I’m able to do nothing but watch him go through this alone. When his mom died, I could at least shield him and the other kids from some of what I saw. Here, he must take it alone.
Life goes on for those of us left behind, for Kathy, a new life begins. She rests at the feet of the master awaiting the day she receives her crowns and begins eternity with the King of Kings.

Like any Father, the first couple days I worried for my son. How could he manage, when can he work, how will he assume all the tasks now required of him in this now very real 'MisterMom' position. A realtime crash course in adjustment 101 with no “spring break” in sight.
The years have givin me both insight and advantage, both absolutely necessary for survival. And both a free 'perk' for walking with and getting to know Jesus Christ. I used to chuckle at those who would be so stupid as to say 'the Lord talked to me'. I’d make a face maybe turn my head and pity the jerk, hoping he’d just go away. At 62 enough waters run under this ole bridge that we are carefull with the kiddin and very serious about who the boss is. Cemetery’s full of folks who thought they could outrun Him, And life is just a whole lot easier when you bunk with Him n try to listen to His laws. But heck, I know there’s some tough guys out there, Go for it! You deserve the truth. If you're so stubborn that you gotta do it the way I did, no better time than now for learnin. . Always figured if you gotta take a beating its best to get at it n get to the other side.
The day after Kathy’s passing, I sat across the kitchen table watching Al try to juggle work, issues with the house, a good number of folks who just wanted to help and then try to respond to 3 motherless kids with questions on dress, homework, etc. I could do nothing but sit there and my heart ached to be able to pitch in. And out of the blue the Lord spoke to my heart and said,
”your eyes are focused on the hurt and confusion. Look past to find Me. It was no surprise to me. I knew Kathy was leaving, I placed her to rest, She sleeps with those who wait the day of my return. Your Son will grieve as I allow it, and as you also did grieve. Those grandbabies are covered in the love of their father and all will be well. . This is a new beginning and not an end. No part of the future has been forgotten. And he will not be alone. Trust me for I am He who sets the moon and the stars. I am fully able and will leave nothing undone."
And as I was able to look with new vision and insight it became very clear that what was revealed was very true. We were truly walking through the valley of the shadow of death but the sting was gone. My Son functioned incredibly well and his grief was haltered. Many times I see wisdom in the things he does and says that would not be there if consumed by this. Three grandkids laughed and played with hardly a sign that mom was gone. Denial? Not a chance. Dad created journals and each night before prayers they would each write something special about Mom. They “camped out” in the Rec room together, two mattresses tossed together to create a place of safety,. where that little family could lay close at night to dispel the fear or talk and cry. Dad said the questions got very deep after the lights went out and the oneness of a bruised family could heal in its own time.  At bedtime I would not even attempt to enter that area. It was sacred ground, a place for just him n the kids. Gods wisdom created it and it works exceptionally well.
At the risk of sounding bizarre what an incredible thing to witness. Death is as much a part of life as life itself. And to be able to see beyond the vail,..such a blessing

Age is not all bad. At 62 I can see back a stretch. See both hills and valleys, both joy and sad times confirming once again the truth in Gods word. My Son now says he wants to go to the Lord before me, because hes lost enough. But time will change that. He will see the joy in seeing those he loves grow and become adults. At that time he will know the blessings I now enjoy. .
At 20 we are invincible, at 30 smarter than most, 40 brings forth life’s reality’s. And by 50 we begin to see mortality through Gods eyes, maybe the aches n pains help. But you definitely are aware that life is not forever and you’d better get at the business of trying to understand where your headed. At 40 death scared me, so much so that I petitioned the Lord to teach me so I could function without fear. I feared seeing a son or daughter laying in a coffin, and it consumed me, yet I was helpless to change a thing. He has done that  and much much more and I stand ready to rest at His Command.   But until He tells me my days are finished I walk by faith. There is no fear, no disease, nothing placed here that does not bow its knee to the King of Kings, and by His grace He has allowed me to be His Child. Nothing in me deserves this love, for I am as filthy rags. But this Holy God, who simply spoke this world into being has kept His word and walked with me and blessed me way beyond a fair measure. Should I die this day, I am so far ahead.

This article seems to have no end. Each attempt to close brings more thoughts, more blessings, memories that need to be shared. That being said I’ll simply give the alter call and it will be your choice whether life will be your struggle, or the joy it can be. If the Lord Jesus Christ see’s value in spending time with me, then surely He will listen when you speak. I promise you, that if with sincerity in your heart you’ll ask Him to reveal Himself to you, you’ll never be the same again. for He is a GREAT and Mighty KING ,,,,,A.L.R.

A PENIS ISSUE

Its always fascinated me how using any sexual connotation can draw readership. So on the important articles i try to grab your attention. And Actually, the test for Bladder Cancer becomes a Penis Issue rather quickly. I remember a concerned friend asking me to tell him what he was in for with his up n coming bladder cancer test. Its quit simple I told him. Go home, grab the garden hose and try to force it into that Lil opening you pee out of. Needless to say, it was not the answer He was looking for, But sitting in those Stirrups,, yeah, the same ones missy used when Lil Jonathan came poppin out. gives you a Birdseye view of a very huge hose goin into a very small opening. And if there is one among you who needs to ask ,, "Does it hurt," I've missed my mark. And this folks, gets to be repeated every 6 months, till yu die.
That may have been one reason I looked for other methods in treatment
I believe I'm now entering my 7Th year since my cancer showed itself, And another all clear has just been sounded as my test results show everything in a normal range. And while This pleases me immensely I never forget that God is in control. I
I don't however have to dance with that garden hose, as there is a much less painful test that is much more accurate.
in 1996 a test called the AMAS Test was created that requires a simple blood test to determine Immunal Activity. It not only Monitors my cancer but also places a watch over all disease. Six monthes ago my test showed increased immune system activity indicating something in my system was getting out of control. I was given a supplement and rescheduled for another test in two months. Last week the results of the new test were in showing everything in a normal range. THIS IS WHY Cancer is not scary, This is also why we need to be living a life of maintaining health. If a doctor is so flippant that he /she can tell you your cancer free Your being lied too. For those of you who know my story you have followed at least in part my wife's 13 year fight against cancer. For the record she lost that battle 3 months ago after listening to every word the medical profession had to say for all that time. If numbers trip your trigger then look closely at those numbers. Conventional Cancer treatment only works for those on the dollar end. Take the time to think thru any treatment offered. Cancer is simply Your Body yelling for help because You abused it. Begin to address the issues before you. Stop dumping junk into your body and begin to treat it well,
The AMAS Test was developed in 1996, and all the documentation is there. But unless you seek the truth it will not find you. The Garden hose scenario is a funny twist to a very uncomfortable procedure, one i've found that is not even necessary. knowledge is power, sometimes even LIFE
Gods very best A.L.R.
I'm blessed to know the Lord Jesus Christ, and ultimately He will determine the length of my days. I am at peace with His decision, but not willing to give up one day to disease.

Hello, I'm back

I should begin with an apology. Jen's passing tossed me for a loop. See, I had it all figured, she was dieing, so I was grieving along the way, and when it was over it would be time to move on.
Life's full of surprises, and my 'practical pete" approach, which seemed logical at the time failed miserably at her passing.
As the rooms began to close in plan B was not to be found and the only peace i saw was in the bottom of a rum n coke. If my friends could see me now. I sat alone in the big ole room , The same room I'd lived in for the last three years changing her meds ,living her pain and watching her die one day at a time. There was nowhere to go, this was home. but the quiet was deafening. 60's music cranked to the max barely covered the sounds of her crying, and a thousand bad memories pressed in to remind me of the many times i failed to ease her suffering.
The beer went down easy, just taking the edge away. but the demons would leave as the rum kicked in. And soon the room would become much smaller . what was once a heavy load would soon meld into a fuzzy gray numbness that required much less thought. Once that point was reached the music sounded better and even my voice blended perfectly as i crooned away into the night. But we all know those kinda hid-a-ways only work while your drinking, so every morning brought the battle back in full force. After a few days of that and memories of a drunken father, it became very clear that this was a solution that needed a better solution. So I shook it off and began to deal with life in smaller increments.
If you've read some of my stuff you know the purpose of this Blog. So to watch my wife succumb to the poisons of treatment was a very painful and frustrating time. Death and dieing are very personal. And each person needs to be honored by their choices. Everything I've learned, every part of my being tells me Jenny didn't need to die. But I watched the poison go into her body every week for years and had a ringside seat to its effect on her "treatment".
So, I'm back, with apologies to all. another chapter to life has begun as I attempt to file away memories and a lifetime. The grieving for the most part now behind me. And God has provided new direction Life itself now has taken on new value as I've witness its fragility. Each new day now a blessing from the Master and a gift I will not take for granted. I chose to look at this day and see what God has provided for me, and make it count. and Tomorrow,, He has a plan for that too. Gods very best A.L.R.

SHE DIDN'T HAVE TO DIE,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i'll start this with an apolagy, As i've abandoned things here for quit a while. jenny's passing on the 17th of June set me back more than I had it figured. And i'm just now beginning to feel real again. Jen had been sick so long that I had it figured that my grieving was being done during the caregiving and that as soon as it was over, i'd just pick up and move on. Things just didn't happen as I had planned. So I've been moping around out on my deck for weeks trying to get things back to normal. but the fact is, Normal will never be again. for those things that made up the normal are gone and I need to seek a new normal, one that allows me to function and once again become productive.

One of the reasons I hesatated in my return was the fact that after all my bragging here on the powerin living a healthy lifestyle my own wife lost her battle to disease. And i needed to once again think through those things which I believe.

jenny's battle was hard fought, and lasted a full 13 years. Mine was the easy part in just trying to provide comfort. But the journey provided pricless information that without her struggle would be lost to me

. The tragedy , as I see it is she didn't have to die. Life is precious, death and dying very personal. and ultimately we honor those afflicted, as well as their choices. So it was with Jenny, as it is for the many others who choose Conventional Medical Treatment.

Someone asked a few days ago if I was against Chemo, and my answer was no. If you found a growth or Tumor, and Chemo, or Radiation was needed to zap it or slow its grown thats a good choice , as long as its not followed by series after series of infusions until the immune system is fully destroyed. Jenny's Tumor Markers were down in the teens Yet she opted to stay on the chemo against my suggestions. I believe in my heart that was a bad decision and the continued regimen of weekly Chemo finally was to much for an already taxed immune system.

Am I certain , obviously not. It's just my best judgement based on 13 years of struggle.

Jenny rests now, a well deserved rest. I never met such a fighter. And today she sleeps at the feet of Jesus awaiting the day He decides this mess is over. Judging from what I see out there, and comparing it to scripture and Gods past accounts It wont be long before we will see him Coming in the clouds.
The pictures above show the care taken in just transporting, and administering Chemo n radiation. I dont thin nI need to waste type on what it does inside the body. I''ll leave
that up to you.. A.L.R.

Jenny..The Struggle is Over And She has Taken the Lords Hand!

By Butch's/Ssnuffy's Sister, Linda Brown:

For those who have stopped by to read Butch's posts, I apologize that he has not been on for awhile. As most of you know, his wife, Jenny, has been battling cancer for many many years. On Wednesday, June 17th, Jenny finally left this world and is now walking hand in hand with the Lord. Praise God, her struggle is over!

This past month or so has been difficult for Butch, to say the least, since the cancer had consumed Jenny and her days have been barely tolerable. Butch was by her side day and night, just trying to meet all of her needs and comfort her. She was at peace in her last hours and minutes and Butch was there to let go of her and let her take hold of the Father's mighty hand.

Thank you all for the many thoughts and prayers for them. I know that he appreciate each and every one of you. He doesn't know that I'm posting this. I just wanted to ask that you all continue to keep him in your prayers. It has been a very long rough road and the coming days and months will be difficult as well. Please continue to lift he and his family up to the Lord for strength and peace as they grieve the loss of Jenny. She was my sister in law, but also a very dear friend. Thank you and God Bless.

BEHIND YOUR EYEBALLZ

I remember once going to the factory where my wife worked to take her a lunch she'd forgotten. As I moved through the production area my mind, ears and nose worked overtime trying to process the bangs and clangs and rumbles. Everyone was producing, each job focused.
If you've ever wondered why sleep is deemed so important maybe we can make a correlation to the sights n sounds in that factory environment.
The absence of noise, dimmed light source, and the body lying prone, coupled with a warm blanket will cause the body to seek rest. As a result, those systems designed for motion, action and thought processing go to a rest mode. The eyes close and heart and breathing slow, and it would appear to those who observe that the body is now at rest. But in actuality the very opposite is true. While day functions cease the battle is just beginning. Behind the eyeballs a conference has just been called and all those who monitor are required to attend. SSnuffy heads the meeting, gathering info from each attending, creating a battle plan for the shift. Station one reports a low energy reserve as a result of lack of sleep while ssnuffy makes notes. Station two reports high toxin levels at the head, arms and legs from formaldehyde that's oozed thru the skin from shampoos and creams. station three reporting high Sugar overload from soda pop while station 4 is reporting a massive intake of saturated fats and salt. Reports come up from downstairs that the colon is in overload and is drastically in need of a cleanse to get rid of standing toxins and a crew is dispatched immediately to try and at least contain the poison. Water levels are dangerously low due to low intake hindering the ability of the team to function properly.
The results are quickly tallied and the night crew of immunal warriors is summoned . With so much to do the crew is devided and dispatched with orders to do what they can in each area of concern before morning, knowing there is just too much to do to get the body back to 100 percent. Soon the tax of another day is added and the condition of the body is dropped yet another notch. This goes on Behind your eyes every day of your life,,,until,,,,,,,, is there any wonder people get cancer? There's no longer an excuse for not knowing. There is tons of information out there, way more than enough to convince you that your body needs a hand.
The choice is yours and the tools are everywhere.

Freedom is NOT Free !!~! R u Willing to Fight???

I'm Angry,,, Hell no, I'm "Pissed"!! as the media chases a mom and her son across the map , hungry for some print because she wont conform to a judges decision concerning the health of her son. This lady stands her own struggle, fighting for the right to make good decisions about her son's future. Anyone that has watched the cancer struggle, and the results of a regimen of that crap knows full well why she did what she did. The young son, Daniel, so fearful, from the first bout of chemo, threatened to run away. And all that mom did was go with him.
Religious or not, you cannot beat Gods system. I'd even go so far as bet that you can't. The idea , of placing Judges in positions of authority was implemented by God himself to help Moses with troubled times. And the requirement was that they were men, above reproach, who walked in wisdom and relied on the Lords guidance to make good decisions. Not a week goes by anymore that we are not hearing of some judge coming up with some lame brained decision over common sense issues. We let them chase this mom to hell and back for trying to be a mom and save her son from some agony while the plain truth is if Daniel was still in her womb it would be OK to jam a sharp knife into the back of his neck and kill him.
This is all just "stuff" because Daniel is just somebody else's kid, And Sleepy Eye Minnesota is not where you live. But its your freedom to chose your type of treatment for your son or daughter that's on the line here.
The days of trusting our family doctor is over folks. There are a lot of low quality medical people out there with could care less about you and care even less of the oath they took, let alone spell it. . I'm told that now you can go online and get the answers to medical college finals for less than the price of a quarter barrel. No wonder jackasses are popping up with scalpels in their hands, happy to give it a go on your body.
This #$$%*&^ judge was messing with YOUR Freedoms, and somewhere down the line his decisions are coming to your backyard and making determinations on your family. If you doubt me look into and compare government control from the early days until now, it sure would be wonderful to be paying the 2 percent income tax that was established way back then. Of course men were willing to fight and die for their rights way back then too.

Judge Roy Moore, an American Hero to me fought to keep the Ten Commandment on his courtroom wall. And was willing to give up his position to hold that standard. On November 13th , 2003 he lost his battle, but we lost much more. We let go of the integrity that made America the great country that she once was. And each time we fail to step up and use our right to voice our opinions, we lose yet another freedom.
This is Gods world, you're just visiting. You doubt me, check your local Cemetery. America was blessed because she chose to function in the integrity of Biblical principals. She struggles now because those principals are being ignored.
MY Friend the Judge wrote a poem after his removal. I'm including it here. Get involved! Voice your opinion! thnx Al

America the Beautiful, or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride; I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters, abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty, your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly poisoned by cocaine,
Choosing to indulge their lusts, when God has said abstain.
From sea to shining sea, our nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love and a need to always pray.
So many worldly preachers tell lies about our rock,
Saying God is going broke so they can fleece the flock.
We've kept God in our temples, how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool, and heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless judges who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry, that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God, from whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do, but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children, will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from heaven and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land and those who live within.
But, America the Beautiful, if you don't then you will see,
A sad but Holy God withdraw His hand from thee.
Judge Roy Moore A.L.R.

Swine Flu Scare,, Is it really over?

The news has been literally plastered with information and articles about the last Swine Flu Scare. And you need not go very far to find yet another comment or opinion on its progress. It seems folks are reaching for the promise that they can go ahead with life in general with no threat of sickness. One of the advantages of living a Christian life is it keeps a perspective on Our time here on Earth. So my reaching might be a bit shorter than some. But at least realistic.
I watched the Cancer clinic doors swing in and out for many years as my wife endured pain and sickness in her struggle to be free of cancer. And in all that time I saw very few who won the battle. That, in a nutshell is the reason for this Blog. Fighting cancer, or any other disease should not be left to a drastic and many time futile attempt to arrest a disease that has a choke hold on your life. Lets nail this down once and for all. The numbers are in!! There is a much greater chance that you will deal with cancer sometime in your life now , than there is a chance you will be able to avoid it. OWN IT, Its TRUE. BUT!!~!
The upside is very encouraging. IT has now been established that the cause of our diminishing health is due to our Diet and lifestyle. That may not be what you want to hear, but this lays the tools of battle right in your lap.
So, the issue of health now becomes an issue of choice. TODAY, you have a much better chance to avoid disease, if you'll make some good decisions. And it can begin as simply as beginning to adjust your diet. I've provided much information on this Blog to get you started on a road to better health, but you need to begin taking those steps, I've convinced myself that my bladder cancer, from 6 years ago, is kept in check by addressing my health issues through exercise and diet. By letting my immune system do my fighting while I feed it well. You can do the same.
Buy building your immune system your guarding against swine flu, cancer and every other disease known to man and those we don't know about as well. But setting there , waiting for someone to create a vaccine, hoping someone else will help you dispel the fear makes no sense.
YOU have the responsibility for your health. And You have options. Today is the day to start addressing your needs.
The number of your days here on earth have already been establish By the King Of Kings. And How comforting to me that Even Cancer has to bow its knee to HE who created life. Disease, in many cases shortens that time needlessly. The day to begin your fight is today A. L. R.

""OUTRAGED""

This letter was sent to the Wall Street Journal on August 8, 2008 by Alisa Wilson, Ph.D. Of Beverly Hills , CA . in response to the Wall Street Journal article titled "Where's The Outrage?" that appeared July 31,2008 Really. I can tell you where the outrage is. The outrage is here, in this middle-aged, well-educated, upper-middle class woman. The outrage is here, but I have no representation, no voice. The outrage is here, but no one is listening for who am I?
I am not a billionaire like George Soros that can fund an entire political movement; I am not a celebrity like Barbra Streisand that can garner the attention of the press to promote political candidates I am not a film maker like Michael Moore or Al Gore that can deliver misleading movies to the public.

The outrage is here, but unlike those with money or power, I don't know how to reach those who feel similarly in order to effect change. Why am I outraged? I am outraged that my country, the United States of America , is in a state of moral and ethical decline. There is no right or wrong anymore, just what's fair.

Is it fair that millions of Americans who overreached and borrowed more than they could afford are now being bailed out by the government and lending institutions to stave off foreclosure? Why shouldn't these people be made to pay the consequences for their poor judgment?

When my husband and I purchased our home, wewere careful to purchase only what we could afford. Believe me, there are much larger, much nicer homes that I would have loved to have purchased. But, taking responsibility for my behavior and my life, I went with the house that we could afford, not the house that we could not afford. The notion of personal responsibility has all but died in our country.

I am outraged, that the country that welcomed my mother as an immigrant from Hitler's Nazi Germany and required that she and her family learn English now allows itself to be overrun with illegal immigrants and worse, caters to those illegal immigrants.

I am outraged that my hard-earned taxes help support those here illegally. That the Los Angeles Public School District is in such disarray that I felt it incumbent to send my child to private school, that every time I go to the ATM, I see "do you want to continue in English or Spanish?", that every time I call the bank, the phone company , or similar business, I hear "press 1 for English or press 2 for Spanish". WHY? This is America , our common language is English and attempts to promote a bi- or multi-lingual society are sure to fail and to marginalize those who cannot communicate in English.

I am outraged at our country's weakness in the face of new threats on American traditions from Muslims. Just this week, Tyson's Food negotiated with its union to permit Muslis to have Eid-al-Fitr as a holiday instead of Labor Day. What am I missing? Yes, there is a large Somali Muslim population working at the Tyson's plant in Tennessee . Tennessee , last I checked, is still part of the United States . If Muslims want to live and work here they should be required to live and work by our American Laws and not impose their will on our long history.

In the same week, Random House announced that they had indefinitely delayed the publication of The Jewel of Medina, by Sherry Jones, a book about the life of Mohammed's wife, Aisha due to fear of retribution and violence by Muslims. When did we become a nation ruled by fear of what other immigrant groups want? It makes me so sad to see large corporations cave rather than stand proudly on the princiles that built this country.

I am outraged because appeasement has never worked as a political policy, yet appeasing Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is exactly what we are trying to do. An excellent article, also published recently in the Wall Street Journal, went through over 20 years of history and why talking with Iran has been and will continue to be ineffective. Yet talk, with a madman no less, we continue to do. Have we so lost our moral compass and its ability to detect evil that we will not go in and destroy Iran 's nuclear program? Would we rather wait for another Holocaust for the Jews - one which they would be unlikely to survive? When does it end?

As if the battle for good and evil isn't enough, now come the Environmentalists who are so afraid of global warming that they want to put a Bag tax on grocery bags in California; to eliminate Mylar balloons; to establish something as insidious as the recycle police in San Francisco. I do my share for the environment: I recycle, I use water wisely, I installed an energy efficient air conditioning unit. But when and where does the lunacy stop?Ahmadinejad wants to wipe Israel off the map, the California economy is being overrun by illegal immigrants, and the United States of America no longer knows right from wrong, good from evil.. So what does California do? Tax grocery bags.

So, America , although I can tell you where he outrage is, this one middle-aged, well-educated, upper middle class woman is powerless to do anything about it. I don't even feel like my vote counts because I am so outnumbered by those who disagree with me.

There are a lot more out there who think just like Alisa Wilson, the only difference, she put her thoughts out front and I agree.

the Sting of Death

I need to Apologize for my Lack of attention here the last few days. As I was called upon to play a very small part in the funeral of a family member. And in doing so, I was once again reminded of the devastating effect death still holds on us. The day before the death occurred at least 12 to 15 individual people, or at least those I was aware of . Had busy lives, plans that filled their week. Happily moving forward with hopes n dreams all laid out to form at least a short Itinerant into their lives. Then, in the space of a few hours their lives are irrevocably changed. Burdened by a heaviness of both shock and sadness as they try and grasp this new knowledge and absorb its meaning . And life, as it was known just a few hours before, Becomes different and more complicated. the tragedy, is that if we were honest folks, and talked to each other out of love and respect, giving God His place in our lives, most of this would be avoided.
As a younger man, and sporting a very healthy fear of death, I spent some time with the lord asking for a better understanding of death. If this thing was created by God then why did I fear it so much. I'm always amazed by His timely responses, and in a very short time the fear I had was replaced with knowledge that bridged that gap for me in an incredible way.
We "condition" ourselves by our lack of knowledge to believe "life' is the 70 yrs we spend here, and forget Gods plan. The word of Gods law sets the number of our days here because He says we are only to be here but a "season". That life as He has designed it goes much farther beyond this. And that Death is but a doorway to that which He has provided. So the big picture holds much more promise if we care to check it out.
Emotions run high today with this family who have lost both need and opportunity to say the I love you's and the goodbye's. But most of the regrets are because we are not honest or comfortable enough to see it for what life really is.
I try to share in the discussions on weather there really is a God. And the dispute will last until all hear the trumpet that signals Christs return. But the indisputable issue is death. For no matter which side of that discussion you stand on Death has stood the test of time. For me there is no dispute. The experience of getting to know the King of Kings leaves no room for a fear of anything He has designed. And It's my wish that all would give Him the chance to share the secrets of life with you. The answers are all there, followed by a peace unmatched with anything offered here.

DA BUGS IN YOUR CARPET,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

One of the jobs I held in My travels was General Manager of ServiceMaster here in Minnesota. A great part of that job was carpet cleaning. And i was many times out bidding jobs. one particular lady comes to Mind Who had beautiful house full of White carpet. The other Significant feature of this story is She ran a Day Care on those white carpets. Her house was Emasculate which blew me away to start with , no evidence of rugrats anywhere. and every three to four weeks our crews were there to rinse those carpets. Nancy was paranoid about Germs, to the point that you could see visibly if the cleaning went over 3 weeks. One Summer day the crew was just finishing up so I had a chance to share some time with her. It bothered me that she sincerely thought she was controlling bacteria while it was running rampant just below he tenny's. So I said to her, Nancy how long from today before a child spills milk or drops food on your carpet. She laughed and said, by tomorrow night I guarantee it will have already been "christened", But I always clean up right away. I said, Nancy, that carpet is an inch and 3/4 from the nap to the pad, how much of that spill do you think you got out of the carpet. with a frown she answered , well i get as much as i can? So we talked about carpets and the properties surrounding the backing, and the pad. and I shared with her how any moisture left in the pad would "wick" back up to the surface. And how That one particular spill would grow bacteria for weeks until the next rinse. Nancy was shocked , and agreed that it made perfect sense. BUT Nancy continued day care, and the rinses for many seasons after that.

I use this story to raise awareness for your home, and your health. Bacteria breeds disease, Disease makes you sick. I wonder how many babies left that house with a "little cold" or "congested" because of that Perdy white carpet.??You have been Deceived!! Its burned into us that white means clean and if it smells good its clean. There is no Carpet in my home except those that can be tossed in the washer. If you have carpet its diseased, I don't care how many times you've cleaned it.
One of my favorite deceptions is Lysol. Ever see those commercials ?? just spray it on and,,,,,,,,, MY FOOT!!! Those sprays need to soak there for at least a minute to have any effective at all. and the residual left on the surface, well I'd think twice before I licked it.

Room air fresheners , don't they smell wonderful?? Breath deep and draw that formaldehyde deeeeep in your lungs . If your lucky, and your immune System is ramped you'll be able to expel most of the toxicity, IF your lucky.
White Rice n White flour and white salt, sugar, shortening, etc, Everything is bleached to satisfy your perception of clean. They don't have to say bleach is an Ingredient But its Bleached, What doest thou common sense tell you?
Foods n juices are plugged full of Sugars , because you have trained your body to want sweet. Sugar shuts down your Immune System,,, Hello? Anyone home?? If your trusting your food vendor to supply you with good foods you've misplaced your trust and your headed for trouble.
Someone slipped me a cassette a few years ago, it was titled, "dead Doctors don't lie" lots a great info in it. but the concept was, Why trust your medical needs to the Doctors when the average doc doesn't live above 56. Now I'm hoping that figure has come up a bit but the proofs still in the puddin. If these guys had half a clue, and a good hold on their profession Manhattan would be Doctorville , USA.
Corruption and greed not only ooze from Capitol hill, its permeated the Food Industry. And the days of trusting ,, is gone. Its no longer a surprise to hear the word cancer, its very very commonplace and a Multi-Billion dollar Industry that's growing faster than they can build Clinics.
And All they need to do is wait on you. YOU need to bring this home. Its no longer the neighbor, This is in your home, your babies , your food, your cloths, carpets, cosmetics Etc. your drinking it, eating it, breathing it. ,,,,,,Scary?? you bet.
Common sense has been tucked in a drawer. Its time to re-think and revive,,,, AL

Raw Milk, Coconut Oil and Raw honey

These are not only all Natural, but Superfoods provided for our benefit. As knowledge increases we are made more and more aware of the power builders that stand among us.
RAW MILK a wonderful source of Vitamins and Minerals also containing active enzymes and beneficial Bacteria that make digestion and nutrient assimilation a smooth process within the body. As an added bonus, raw Milk contains twenty, of the twenty two Amino acids our bodies requires daily. So, getting all or proteins is made an easy task through its usage.
There are those who would argue that using Raw milk is dangerous and unsafe. The facts say its been used effectively by many cultures for centuries. The Salmonella break outs we all heard about have givin milk a bad rap. But research would show you that ALL the "breakouts' were caused by PASTEURIZED Milks. Pasteurization requires heating the milk , in turn destroying all posative bacteria and redering the milks Amino acids, vitamins calcium and other beneficial absolutely worthless to the bodies needs.
Its interesting to me, that those in charge of what we can and cant eat will allow an extremely TOXIC ingredient like ASPARTAME found in diet sodas and sugar free gums, yet will not allow a Superfood like Raw milk. If you have to ask why, your not following the money.
Demand for Raw Milk has greatly increased, and more dairies are opening to accommodate the demand. the website, http://www.realmilk.com/ is spreading the news and points folks to new sources across America as we speak.
RAW HONEY like raw Milk offers active enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals such as silica, copper, magnesium and iron. Used by the Egyptians for centuries, proven by thousands of years of hands on usage, and multifunctional, yet undetected as a source of healing by The Elite of the Medical World. Almost makes you wonder who's side they are on. Honey is great for sinus issues, Rheumatic and arthritis problems. It has a calming effect making it great for sleep disturbances as well as colds, acne, infectious diseases and many other issues including circulation.
COCONUT OIL A great food source with many functions. A saturated fat high in Medium chain fatty acids that help with weight loss. Medium chain acids are not easily stored and convert to Triglycerides unlike long chain fatty acids. These acids serve to disrupt another Medium chain fatty acid. High in Lauric acid which is one of the medium chain lipids that possess the Anti Microbial effect, an important component in breast milk. Topically, it restores youth and luster to the skin and is a very stable cooking oil. Demonized by many through misconception, the Evidence is overwhelming that its benefits greatly outweigh the so called "Risks". Again used for centuries successfully in Eastern Cultures. Found in most health food stores, a great All natural Product.

Gods Pharmacy,,, its AMAZING

It's been said that God first separated the salt water from the fresh, made dry land, planted a garden, made animals and fish... all before making a human. He made and provided what we'd need before we were born. These are best & more powerful when eaten raw. We're such slow learners... God left us a great clue as to what foods help what part of our body! God's Pharmacy! Amazing!
A sliced Carrot looks like the human eye. The pupil, iris and radiating lines look just like the human eye... and YES, science now shows carrots greatly enhance blood flow to and function of the eyes.
A Tomato has four chambers and is red. The heart has four chambers and is red. All of the research shows tomatoes are loaded with lycopine and are indeed pure heart and blood food.
Grapes hang in a cluster that has the shape of the heart. Each grape looks like a blood cell and all of the research today shows grapes are also profound heart and blood vitalizing food.
A Walnut looks like a little brain, a left and right hemisphere, upper cerebrums and lower cerebellums. Even the wrinkles or folds on the nut are just like the neo-cortex. We now know walnuts help develop more than three (3) dozen neuron-transmitters for brain function.
Kidney Beans actually heal and help maintain kidney function and yes, they look exactly like the human kidneys.
Celery, Bok Choy, Rhubarb and many more look just like bones. These foods specifically target bone strength. Bones are 23% sodium and these foods are 23% sodium. If you don't have enough sodium in your diet, the body pulls it from the bones, thus making them weak. These foods replenish the skeletal needs of the body.
Avocadoes, Eggplant and Pears target the health and function of the womb and cervix of the female - they look just like these organs. Today's research shows that when a woman eats one avocado a week, it balances hormones, sheds unwanted birth weight, and prevents cervical cancers. And how profound is this? It takes exactly nine (9) months to grow an avocado from blossom to ripened fruit.
There are over 14,000 photolytic chemical constituents of nutrition in each one of these foods (modern science has only studied and named about 141 of them).
Figs are full of seeds and hang in twos when they grow. Figs increase the mobility of male sperm and increase the numbers of Sperm as well to overcome male sterility.
Sweet Potatoes look like the pancreas and actually balance the glycemic index of diabetics.
Olives assist the health and function of the ovaries.
Oranges, Grapefruits, and other Citrus fruits look just like the mammary glands of the female and actually assist the health of the breasts and the movement of lymph in and out of the breasts.
Onions look like the body's cells. Today's research shows onions help clear waste materials from all of the body cells. They even produce tears which wash the epithelial layers of the eyes. A working companion, Garlic, also helps eliminate waste materials and dangerous free radicals from the body.
And yes, of Coarse, this is all just one big ole coincidence,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

""White flour"" ,,,, itza "" LIE!!

Your being sold a bill of goods and the sooner you own up to it, the sooner you can begin to move into a better lifestyle.
"White flour is Wheat flour after the good parts are pulled out for pet food. And competition in the food markets , and the deception that white means clean, has fooled us into believin that if our " Food folks" soak our goodies in bleach its better for us.
Flour's not white!!!! Sugar's not white. Salt is not white. It's bleached to make you happy!! Make you choose one brand over another cuz it's "whiter, Cleaner! Funny isn't it?
Regular Wheat bread is not real dark. But If I dump in "caramel color" I get a much deeper richer wheat bread, It's not one wit better, or one bit more nutritious. But our "conditioning" causes us to believe its a better wheat product.
I was a professional Baker for 41 years. I've done all this.
As a young baker I used an "ingredient" called Mycoban , 4 ounces in a 120 loaf batch of white bread. It sat in a bin left of the salt and right of the baking powder. after a couple years of baking I discovered that its poison. I discovered it !! it was never described, explained, or the dangers revealed. but Had I made a mistake ,many could have gotten sick,,,,or worse.
but once in the bread even God couldn't make that white bread mold.
We are drivin by what we've been taught. red meat sells, but before you buy take your selection out away from the pretty lights in the meat case, you might be surprised. Remember the "Marlboro man", many of us still live that struggle.
Fruits n Veggies are dyed to appeal to your expectations, Juices are packed full of sugars because we want a sweet product. bu the truth is most fruit juices are not very sweet, without that bleached sugar.
Many who decide to go healthy are disappointed because "healthy" things don't taste as good as those we used to buy. But instead of buckling under the disappointment, begin to realize what a 'sugar junkie" you have become. Your dependence runs deep, and its not going to be a one step dance back to basics. You get there the same way you got here. One thing at a time. But the first thing is to unlock the mindset that's been your lifestyle for a long time.
Breakfast needs to be Whats here thats good for my body,, not what do we have here that will satisfy my urges. Because those urges are more than likely targeting sugars.
I still remember my first day of city life after growin up on a Minnesota farm. The milk for breakfast cereal was like white water. It was thin and tasteless. Yet after a few weeks the thick, delicious flavored real milk from the barn seperator was forgotten, and "white water became the norm for "milk".
A while back the TV folks made a big deal out of the discovery that many Grocers were displaying huge stacks of eggs out on the floor of their stores. And I was very grateful for that airing. But you need to discover that the local grocer is not your buddy and DOES NOT have your best interest at heart. Good ole common sense needs to be revived, and you need to think about what and where your buying the foods that directly effect how you feel.
I share with folks all the time to buy local and use organic. yet many use the excuse that organics cost more, And its always a chuckle for me because I've experienced the medical side of not stayin healthy. If your not willing to invest a bit more into keeping yourself health, then you need to be educated. And the best education is experience. The trouble is, we are talkin your health, and I'm hopin you get a second chance. We all know those who've not been so lucky.

I'm mad at God today,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's Tuesday, not that that's any big deal. Winter drags on here, and the cold gray Sky's add very little promise to anything but more cold and another winter day. . From the patio I stare out at the apple tree's, straining to see just one new bud,, but nothing. I pretty sure spring passed us by and no one bothered to lock it down. And one more month of this crap, n I'm gonna lose it.

Yesterday was a tough day. Today looks to be no different. Jenny's pains are ramped, and her appetite 's gone. The pain she needs to go through just for a bowel movement is horrendous, many times an enema is needed just to get some relief. But she struggles through,,,only to find more pain and more discomfort on the other side. Just sitting, or laying is a challenge, as tumors press against her skin . I make her food and just the smell turns her stomach. So We abort that and try something fresh hoping to catch onto something she can swallow.

She's constantly hitting the Morphine button and battling the drug to stay awake and Remain functional. And in between ,,eating pills for this pain and that. Pills for nausea, pills for Diarea, pills to counteract the negative effect of other pills. Then pills to cover negative effects that those pills created to counteract the others. It's a never ending game of guessing. Her crying goes right through me, But the great hunter/gatherer who is here to protect her can do nothing but sit and hold her hand.
Prayer after prayer hit the ceiling, then fall back to her bed. And we are left to deal with death and Hell in our own living room.
Yeah, I'm mad at God, none of this makes any sense at all. And that preacher who would put a hand to my shoulder today, and tell me God loves me, stands a very real risk of being re-educated in a Language bent on a trimmin.
But this is where history with the Lord kicks in. As mad and upset as I am with the way this is going I know that there is a day ahead when all will be clear. I know this because I've shook my fist at Him in the past thinking I'd caught him in a lie. And had been shown the answers in the fullness of His time. I have absolutely no idea how this will play out. Mine is the easy part and still it beats me down to watch as the days take their toll on Jenny's body. I know He has a place prepared where she will not hurt anymore. A. . L. R.

"COME ON!!~!< LETS RIDE THE DRUNK BUS!!~!

After Jenny got sick, and I quit Baking for a living. The money got very tight. The city was advertising for a driver for the "College Bus". It didn't seem like to tough a job so i signed on. The Bus was hired by the City to transport the College kids to the bars downtown , then haul their drunkin Butts back after bar close . it was a very Interesting job. also very Risky. Remember the song, "the girls all get prettier at closin time"? Well , That's cuz the eyes iz kinder at Closing time. The town remained quiet for the early hours as everyone was "partaking". But around 10:30 just like clockwork The police and EMT's were buzzing around from bar to bar like little bee's. I started taking a police scanner so I would know where the squad cars were headed as I had to be moving in and out of the downtown area. it was not uncommon to hear one or two calls a night with kids not breathing from Alcohol Poisoning. And I had to watch for drunken kids wondering out in the streets. or see groups peeing on storefronts, or fights on two and three corners simultaneously. And At bar close, they kicked them all out onto the street. When I would round the corner , after "last Call"to the downtown area, It was not uncommon to be rushed by 40 to 50 kids all drunk and all yelling and screaming. Their favorite chant was "Drunk Bus, Drunk Bus"as they clambered on board , some nights 30 passengers over capacity. They literally tried to rock the bus off its wheels more than once, and Many nights i'd have pull the bus over and stop to break up fights , and I've seen blood from my drivers seat to the last window. windows were broken out, And I even had to stop a rape attempt one evening by two guys who had turned into supermen. But everyone turns a blind eye because they, the kids were generating big cash for the local Bigwigs.

My focus was to pick the drunkest guy or gal -n- try to get him/her home before it all came up in the seats. One night I had cleared the Route and gassed the bus before I found someone passed out between the seats, just before putting the bus in a big ole deep dark shed. imagine my drunk friend if he woke in a strange dark barn after a night of heavy partying.

These kids are Our future.!,, Among them, Our Doctors and Health Care Workers. Is it any wonder we can no longer just Trust a Surgeon? Final Exam "packets" are now available Online, and cheap. And far to many are seeking high paying jobs with no concern for their "Oath". Don't get me wrong, We still have some great Medical Folks out there. But The mix is getting thinner. Conventional Medical Docs are "expected to show a good number of "patients" per day. They'll tell you that's not true but its a fact. And the MRI's and CT scans mean an easy 500 dollar "gift" to the prescrib-er . No wonder they use that so often huh??
We need a bottom line Here. Before ya'll start thinkin I live in a berry patch. Things "ain't what they used to Be". The day of just "trusting Professional people is GONE!! Begin to question the Doc. Chk-n see if he's popular Through others. If what He's/She's sayin sounds like it's comin outta the wood pile, or hiz shoes aint on the right feets, look up quick, that's a flag goin off, for your benefit. It's your body , be careful who butchers it. better still find a good Homeopath, and get some more info before you butcher. An who knows, you may like what you hear,............

*** IT'S GONNA GET BAD FOLKs' ES ***

I was toolin down the frozen isle at the local Grocer just Yesterday lookin at all the purdy packages. You litterally can toss out your stove now , and "wingit" at Walmart. Everything from Pancakes to full meals ready to go . A Microwavers heaven.
We've come so far. But we've lost so much on the Journey. As the masses struggle to stay afloat in this crumbling Economy many are tossing good money away on "conveniences" That are just as easily done at home .
There's absolutely nothing easier to fix at home than pancakes. flip on a burner while you toss an egg into a bowl with a cup of mix, oil and water and you got fresh pancakes . Slickern snot on a , well you get the picture. And the mix is plain ole flour and baking powder. Yet we think nothing of droppin a four dollar bill on a little bag of frozen flapjacks. yeah i know there aint no four dollar bills yet,, just don't get cute, this is my story.

How bout Mac n cheese. Them lil elbow noodles iz dirt cheap if you buy em by their lonesome. But you'd rather spend a half hours wage just so you kin have em in a cute lil box with a hunka cheese stuck on top. Come on now. Better still , you kin toss half dozen eggs in the mixer, and dump in some flour n salt and yu got better tastin noodles then even Grandma usta brag about.
For me, The Corker is cake mixes. Cake mix my,,,,,,,,,,,"Foot" itza box of flour!!~! your gonna still go home in add your eggs n your oil n your water, or milk, and pay some fool Two fifty for the privaledge. COME ON PEOPLE!!~!
I'm a Baker by trade, Always say i've been "makin loaf" for over 40 yrs now. and its true. Usta tell my youngest that she better hope Betty Crocker never dies or she's in real trouble. Thankfully she's taken the initiative to learn and is now a dang good little Cook. But it was nip n tuck there for awhile.
My point is, maybe we need to re-evaluate how we are spending our money. I't maybe takes me all of a minute to whip up pancakes for four. why give that money away for a minutes work? as the economy faulters this is a good way keep the balance A. L. R.

Oh MY GOD!!~!

I listened today to Focus on the Family Today. They were talking With a Nurse who USED to be pro Choice,
“A young women lay in the stirrups, the Doctor on a Stool between her legs” I was there to assist. A small leg was already out side the women’s body. The doctor reached in and pulled the other leg out. Then grabbed the Torso and pulled the baby’s body out leaving just the head inside the mother. The little arms and legs were moving, streaching then pulling back and forth. The torso squirming, the little chest moving up and down, . The Doctor took a large scissors, reached inside the women and shoved it in the back of the neck of the child, making a hole in the back of the Brain .. The little body stiffened at the blow. Then He took a huge syringe and sucked the childs brain out. As he did this the little child went limp. ,,,,,,,,NOW it was LEGAL to pull the baby out of the mother. The “Fetus” was then tossed to the side to be disposed of like a piece of Garbage. And another successful Partial Birth Abortion was added to the list of Millions. God have Mercy on Us.
This is a short post. No more words are necessary, except to say,,,, we’ve gone to far,,,,,,,,,!!!!

RAW FOODS,, RELIEVE'S STRESS n

Way back in the 30's, a Doc by the name of Paul Kauchakoff did testing on the benefits of raw foods. He observed, that after eating a meal, a persons white blood cells would increase, indicating stress on the body, while eating a meal of raw foods did not elevate the count. He also discovered that foods that were altered also suppressed the immune system, indicating foods left in their natural state were assimilated into our systems much easier.
Many believe foods need to be cooked to kill bacteria and make it more digestible, but that's merely a learned behaviour. A few vegetables, as those in the cruciferous family, like broccoli, are a bit more difficult. But most foods do not become more digestible by cooking. Cooking foods actually create one more step in digestion, as the immune system needs to 'finish' the processing.
The best practice would be to eliminate processed, altered and cooked foods entirely from your diet . That includes milk, as it is both pasteurized and homogenized. It also means removing white sugar and flour as both are processed. For those finding difficulty in changing over, just begin by adding a small green salad to every meal, then slowly adding more veggies as your system begins to change. This works, as I was a great meat eater and even a sidesaddle look at a veggie ran close to wrinklin in my whiskersz. One of my Fav's was a 'Cold Cut Combo' at the local Subway. But after a while that Combo began to taste different. Finally, on a whim, I asked for it with no meats and it literally blew me away how much better it tasted. I'm a Veggie Sub guy now, and it still feels funny. Every once in a while I'll try my old meat combo, and its never equaled the veggie. It's important that you know that I didn't do that. My body actually changed my tastes for food. Switching gradually works.
Cooking also reduces the amount of bio-available vitamins and removes the antioxidants in the food. So you can double the amount of benefits available by eating raw.
There's hardly a week that goes by that we are not told of yet one more contaminant in another of our 'Processed foods'. Buying local, and eating organically grown raw veggies is a great step towards better health.

''WEEDS,, izz GOOD!~!

I truely believe that God sits above us shaking His head , maybe even chuckling at our ignorance. For He has provided absolutly free many magical little "ditties" that defy man's arrogance. I'm convinced that those who say there is no God are truely blinded to the many blessings we ignore or step over every day of our lives.
Just about everybody knows what a dandelion is. In the western world it is a weed, but in many other societies it is an important herb that is used to treat many common diseases and conditions of the human body.
It is also a food, being used in salads and the roots are also used by some as a coffee substitute the same as chicory. It is also used to make a herbal tea, and most people have likely heard of dandelion tea. However, its medicinal properties are not so well known, even though it has been used for hundreds, if not thousands, of years for the treatment of many conditions including those associated with the gall bladder, liver and kidneys.
However, that is not all, and there are several more traditional uses of dandelion in the folk medicine of many different countries including conditions as diverse as water retention and eczema. So, taking all of this into consideration, what exactly are the main benefits of dandelion to the body and what is it that provides these benefits?
Dandelion contains its fair share of minerals and vitamins, and is rich in vitamin C of course, with its strong antioxidant properties. It also contains the antioxidant vitamin A together with several B vitamins and the sunshine vitamin, vitamin D, which is so important for the absorption of calcium by the kidneys and into the bone structure. The minerals it contains is like an encyclopedia entry of minerals important to the human body. It’s not so much what minerals dandelion contains, as what it doesn’t contain.
The list includes phosphorus, iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, silicon, manganese and boron, and the organic nutrients include lecithin, carotenoids, terpenoids, tannins, sterols, choline, inulin, aspargine and so on. It would take a whole book to describe the health benefits of each of these, but an attempt will be made later to discuss the more important of them.
Suffice it to say that the list contains antioxidants, anti-inflammatories, and substances that help to reduce blood cholesterol levels and also maintain the health of your blood and major organs. However, the effect of dandelion on the liver and the digestive system are due largely to substances known collectively as taraxacin. That is what gives dandelion its bitter taste.
What was once known as taraxin, is now known to consist of sesquiterpene lactones known as eudesmanolide and germacranolide, which although claimed to be unique to the dandelion, are very similar to other sesquiterpenes found in chicory. In fact, dicaffeolquinic acid and chicoric acid (dicaffeoyltartaric acid) have been found to comprise a significant proportion of the extract from dandelion roots, together with a number of phenolic acids and flavanoids. Each of these, of course, is important and effective antioxidants, responsible for many positive health effects in the body.
Among the more important of these is the stimulation of the circulation of the blood throughout the body. The sesquiterpenes are also believed to support the activity of the pancreas, and the presence of so many strong antioxidant species within the leaves and roots of the dandelion explains the traditional use of dandelion for the treatment of inflammatory diseases.
Antioxidants support the immune system that causes inflammation when it is under stress. Studies of rats have indicated that dandelion is effective in reducing acute pancreatis, which is itself an inflammatory condition. The large querticin glycoside and flavanoid content of dandelion root extract posses anti-inflammatory properties, and suddenly dandelion is beginning to take on the appearance of a ‘wonder plant’.
However, let’s get away from the technical stuff for a while, and check out exactly what you can use dandelion for. Pregnant and post-menopausal women can gain the benefit of all these nutrients detailed above by taking dandelion extract, and it also has a diuretic effect. Although mild, this can help to remove excess water from the body, and helps to reduce blood pressure and the effects of heart problems. LDL cholesterol levels can be reduced by virtue of its anti-oxidant properties, and can help to resolve minor digestive complaints.
Traditionally it is claimed to have been used as a laxative and a cure for rheumatism. The latter can be explained by its antioxidant effects, and the way the sesquiterpenes reduce the inflammation associated with rheumatism. It is this inflammation of the tissues that causes so much of the swelling and pain of rheumatism and arthritis. Anti-inflammatories help to reduce this effect.
Dandelion is also believed to stimulate the flow of bile from the gall bladder to the duodenum, and help promote the digestion of fats and oils, thus alleviating many of the digestive problems associated with a fatty diet. This also appears to have the effect of stimulating the appetite, and dandelion juice is frequently drunk before a meal for these reasons. It is believed to help bladder and kidney stones, and also helps to alleviate infections of the urinary tract.
Although dandelion is normally safe to take, those with problems associated with the bile ducts should not take it, and if you are already on diuretic drugs, or any medicines designed to lower your blood pressure, you should stay clear of dandelion extract. The same is true if you are taking lithium for manic depression since some of the components of dandelion juice can exaggerate the side effects. It is also recommended that diabetics do not use dandelion extract, and neither should anyone on blood thinning drugs such as Coumadin, or any other form of warfarin.
Although dandelion can be a very effective natural remedy for many conditions, you should always refer to your physician before taking it, since it could interfere with any medications you are currently taking. Your doctor might also be aware of certain medical conditions you have that, while you are not being treated for, could deteriorate in the presence of one of the constituents of dandelion extract.
Although all of this could suggest that dandelion is dangerous to take, in fact what it indicates is that it is very effective against many conditions, and that taking it could lead to the effects of an overdose of the treatment you are already on. Had it not so many contra-indications, dandelion wouldn’t be as effective at doing what it does. A. L. R.

How Sweet it,,,,,"ISNT"

I'm told that there are 12 teaspoons of sugar in a can of soda. Who in their right mind would put that much sugar in a glass and drink it?? I' m a sweet freak, donuts "wink" at me. If there's a Snicker Bar in this house I guarantee it will nudge me awake tonight somewhere between 1 and 3 AM. But a glass of sugar holds no appeal at all. Yet you can't go anyplace without seeing a dozen people runnin around with a can of soda glued to their hand.
Tests have been done that indicate sugar's effect on our immune system, and it's not good. A good blast of sugar is said to shut down the immune system for 5 hours. Sugar is dumped in almost all processed foods and drinks in one form or another. Bread n Catsup have sugar in for corn sakes !!~!
If we are eating it in foods, and drinking it in our juices and drinks. What chance does our immune system have to work for us??
The term "Sugar" is not just the stuff you dump on yur COCO Puff's'. That's sucrose. The term sugar applies to glucose, fructose (fruit sugar) ,maltose (grain sugar) and honey, which is a mixture of glucose, fructose, sucrose and dextrin.
Sugars play a huge roll in diabetes and obesity, and even speeds up cancer growth. That coupled with its effect on our immune system make it a major player in the fight to gain on our health.
Every one's heard of the flu season, but I wonder,,,,, could it be the, SUGAR SEASON?? Think about it a bit. Halloween ushers in the flu season with huge amounts of sweets, and if your not an uppity snooty parent your gonna admit that your lil paw was in the candy bag too. And as it wears down, Thanksgiving follows with 4 weeks of sweets and cookies to a huge Christmas 'feast'. Then Valentines and Easter follow. Just about the same time "Flu Season" stops.
Much is heard now of (HFCS) High Fructose Corn Syrup being billed as a "good sugar", but pure fructose contains no enzymes, vitamins or minerals, And robs the body of it's micro-nutrient treasures in order to assimilate itself for physiological use. (I got them big words from Dr. Greg's text.) HFCS is said to have a good deal of "free" or inbound fructose. And research indicates that it interferes with the hearts use of key minerals like magnesium, copper and chromium. Its been implicated in elevated levels of cholesterol and the creation of blood clots. Also it has been found to inhibit the actions of white blood cells rendering them "helpless" to defend the body against harmful invaders.
The bottom line, sugar sucks,, well, the doc says it different but it plays out the same. With the "American" diet encased in a "sugar bowl" it shows itself as a definite No No.
Common sense should be slippin in here, if it's not, take the blinders off. This stuff is stopping your body from keeping you healthy, and its hiding under many names,
I stole all this from a good buddy that helped me understand that I was hurting my self. There's a neat scripture that goes,, "My people perish for lack of knowledge", umm , I fergot the scripture number , but its a good one. You now have the knowledge, it's up to you whether you implement its use.

BRRRRrrr!!~! 35 below Zero

AAAARGH!!!~! Cabin fever is setting in. Happens every January. The holidays pass, and you step into the first month of a new year and like magic the search is on for that "January thaw". Yeah, we get one if we're lucky. It's almost like Gods holdin a carrot out there,,,,Sayin,,, "wont be long kids,,, here's just a hint of spring to tide you over"' The sun comes out, and the eve's begin to drip and the day is so bright that it blinds you. The young are outdoors, shedding coats, basking in the new warmth of a clear open sky. But Not us old guys. We know the drill. We've long since dropped the excitement, knowing full well its a ploy to shed the long undies. In a very short time the North Wind blasts back in with the force of demons sending a Bone shakin chill that'l take the white outta Hens teeth. . And winter is back in full force with the promise of full residence for at least two more months.

It's cold out there, weatherman's sayin stay home. One short look at that cold gray sky tells the story. Winds is outta the north with a cut that equals 35 below zero. That means if you were to toss up a hot cup of coffee, nothing would come down. As the cold would vaporize the contents. A man outside with out proper cover has about 7 minutes to get inside, or He's dead. Folks have been found froze solid on their front lawn for lack of good judgement. A young boy, released from school early yesterday fell through the ice on a creek then proceeded towards home. luckily he had a cell phone because as he began to lose consciousness he called 911 and was able to be reached before he was killed by the cold. you don't mess with Ma Nature. we do everything up here that anyone else does, but with respect of Her laws. the ice reached 4 and 5 foot thick on the lakes. but river currents thin it down considerably. And those who ice fish better know the area. A fall through the ice on the main channel is almost always fatal. But the fishin's great and a wonderful pastime if your dressed properly. And it's tough to beat the taste of a fresh catch through the ice.

But tonight a warm fire crackles happily just behind me. it's warmth a soothing blanket against my back. The weather outside doesn't look so bad from here. Think I'll try to write another post

Come on!! get on board ~! and get MAD!!~!

If the book is as good as this it is likely a great read................Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its death throes? He's now 82 years old and has a new book, 'Where Have All The Leaders Gone?
'.Lee Iacocca Says: 'Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our outrage? We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when the politicians say, 'Stay the course.'Stay the course? You've got to be kidding. This is America, not the damned, 'Titanic'. I'll give you a sound bite: 'Throw all the bums out!' You might think I'm getting senile, that I've gone off my rocker, and maybe I have. But someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore. The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Iraq , the Middle East is burning and nobody seems to know what to do. And the press is waving 'pom-poms' instead of asking hard questions. That's not the promise of the 'America' my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough. How about you? I'll go a step further. You can't call yourself a patriot if you're not outraged. This is a fight I'm ready and willing to have. The Biggest 'C' is Crisis! (Iacocca elaborates on nine C's of leadership, with crisis being the first.)Leaders are made, not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with your feet up on the desk and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. It's another thing to lead when your world comes tumbling down. On September 11, 2001, we needed a strong leader more than any other time in our history. We needed a steady hand to guide us out of the ashes. A hell of a mess, here's where we stand. We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan for winning and no plan for leaving. We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the country. We're losing the manufacturing edge to Asia, while our once-great companies are getting slaughtered by health care costs. Gas prices are skyrocketing, and nobody in power has a coherent energy policy. Our schools are in trouble. Our borders are like sieves. The middle class is being squeezed every which way. These are times that cry out for leadership. But when you look around, you've got to ask: 'Where have all the leaders gone?' Where are the curious, creative communicators? Where are the people of character, courage, conviction, omnipotence, and common sense? I may be a sucker for alliteration, but I think you get the point. Name me a leader who has a better idea for homeland security than making us take off our shoes in airports and throw away our shampoo? We've spent billions of dollars building a huge new bureaucracy, and all we know how to do is react to things that have already happened. Name me one leader who emerged from the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. Congress has yet to spend a single day evaluating the response to the hurricane or demanding accountability for the decisions that were made in the crucial hours after the storm. Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping it doesn't happen again. Now, that's just crazy. Storms happen. Deal with it. Make a plan. Figure out what you're going to do the next time.Name me an industry leader who is thinking creatively about how we can restore our competitive edge in manufacturing. Who would have believed that there could ever be a time when 'The Big Three' referred to Japanese car companies? How did this happen, and more important, what are we going to do about it? Name me a government leader who can articulate a plan for paying down the debit, or solving the energy crisis, or managing the health care problem. The silence is deafening. But these are the crises that are eating away at our country and milking the middle class dry. I have news for the gang in Congress. We didn't elect you to sit on your asses and do nothing and remain silent while our democracy is being hijacked and our greatness is being replaced with mediocrity. What is everybody so afraid of? That some bonehead on Fox News will call them a name? Give me a break. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change?Had Enough? Hey, I'm not trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. I'm trying to light a fire. I'm speaking out because I have hope - I believe in America. In my lifetime, I've had the privilege of living through some of America 's greatest moments. I've also experienced some of our worst crises: The 'Great Depression,' 'World War II,' the 'Korean War,' the 'Kennedy Assassination,' the 'Vietnam War,' the 1970's oil crisis, and the struggles of recent years culminating with 9/11.If I've learned one thing, it's this: 'You don't get anywhere by standing on the sidelines waiting for somebody else to take action. Whether it's building a better car or building a better future for our children, we all have a role to play. That's the challenge I'm raising in this book. It's a "Call to Action" for people who, like me, believe in America'. It's not too late, but it's getting pretty close. So let's shake off the crap and go to work. Let's tell 'em all we've had 'enough.'Make your own contribution by sending this to everyone you know and care about. It's our country, folks, and it's our future. Our future is at stake!!

FOOD Nuker's BEWARE!!~!

Old timers are quick to say curiosity killed the cat. I think the opposite is true. It's only when we chose to personally check things out that the true answers surface.
The microwave has become the busiest little appliance in our kitchens. And the ease at which we are now able to prepare a quick meal has grown leaps n bounds since its discovery. New foods, And new containers are being created every day to accommodate the demands. But each new day also provides more information and new discovery into the potential harm that is caused with its use.
Perhaps the most concrete evidence of these dangers comes from Dr. Hans Hertel, a Swiss Food Scientist Who carried out a very high quality study on the effects of microwaved foods on humans. His conclusions, Clear and Alarming. Microwave Cooking Significantly altered the nutrients in the foods enough to cause huge changes in the blood work of participants. Changes that suggest deterioration of the blood.
1. Increased Cholesterol levels
2. More leukocytes, or white blood cells.
3. Decreased numbers of red blood cells.
4. Production of radiolytic compounds (compounds unknown to nature)
5. Decreased hemoglobin levels, which could indicate Anemic Tendencies. Dr Hertel and his Team published these results in 1992, A Gag order was placed on his study by the Swiss Trade Organization but was later lifted by the Swiss Courts.
Consider also a lawsuit involving a women requiring hip surgery. The blood used in her transfusion was just Warmed in a microwave. The Microwave Altered the warmed blood causing her death.
For those who would still defend their microwaves be advised of the following concerns:
1. The Chemical structure of foods heated in microwaves changes, offering unknown consequences.
2. Vegetables and other foods lose valuable cancer fighting nutrients when heated in Microwaves.
3. paper plates, covers, and plastics leach cancer causing toxins when heated in a microwave.
4. Microwaves significantly breakdown the disease fighting abilities in breast milk.
This writers suggestion, Throw the dang thing out the door!!~! COME ON, !! YU Kin DO IT!!~!

THE NEW STATE RELIGEON

THE NEW STATE RELIGION
Every tyranny requires its very own state religion so the rulers can feel justified in their oppression. In our case, the religion is Health.
Today in North America, Healthism enjoys almost total acceptance. Who doesn't want to be healthy? Who doesn't think that sick people should be cured? Conservatives and liberals alike vie to get the other side declared "sick" instead of slugging it out fairly on the grounds of right and wrong. Literally anything can be justified as "healthy," literally any crime can be forgiven as "sick."
We are heading towards exactly the same social structure as (the former) Soviet Russia: A piggish elite ruling over the servile masses. All this can be accomplished without ever invoking the names of Marx or Lenin. All we need is a good enough reason to believe in the omniscience of the elite, and a willingness to let them make the decisions--"for our own good," of course. And, just to ensure our compliance, we will be suffocated with tax-supported bureaucracies, and be surrounded by anonymous accusers.
Under the law of Health, all of life becomes politicized. The most powerful person simply declares his/her personal prejudices to be society's new norms, and that is that. We all must conform. We are even denied the dignity of resisting our oppressors, because they are supposedly tyrannizing us out of love, for our own good . . . .
Whoever can ascend the pedestal of Health controls everything, and there is no way to predict what he or she will demand. Nor is there any theoretical limit on what can be demanded in the name of Health. In the former Soviet Union, dissenters were tortured in psychiatric hospitals in the name of Health. In Nazi Germany dissenters were castrated so as not to bear "unfit" children, and Jews and gypsies were massacred to "purify the race." Nobody can justify Stalin's or Hitler's behavior by any traditional standard of justice, but they both found it easy to persuade a majority of the population that these measures were necessary for "social health" .
LIFE BEFORE "HEALTH" In North America, we have no cultural tradition of oppression as existed for centuries in Czarist Russia. Nor have we suffered the economic devastation that flattened the Weimar Republic and paved the way for Hitler. From its very beginning North America was founded, not perfectly but substantially, on absolute standards of Justice. To consider a return to these absolute standards is not some fanatical theory, but an option that can be weighed against the historical facts.
SOME QUESTIONS:1. Was there more juvenile delinquency and child abuse or less before the "child abuse industry" (Child Protective Services, etc.) was established?
2. Was there more sexual abuse, or less, before the new campaign of sex education and "helping professionals" ?
3. Were we overrun with murderers, rapists, and child molesters before the courts started trying to "rehabilitate" these kinds of criminals?
4. Did half of all marriages end in divorce before we decided that marriage vows were an empty joke instead of a binding contract with penalties for those who broke them?
5. Did children grow up illiterate before God was banned from the classroom and the schools began undermining children's values?
6. Was a large percentage of the population chronically unemployable, with no real prospect for their children but poverty, before we formed an army of bureaucrats (wrongly called the Great Society) and declared a War on Poverty?
The answers: No, no, no, no, no, NO! Juvenile delinquency is up 11,000 percent since 1950 (1). Incest was estimated at one in a million or less in 1940 (2). Murder, rape and other violent crimes were a tiny fraction of today's numbers before the religion of Health replaced the Justice of Law. Child molesting was almost unheard of. Few couples divorced, and few children had to suffer through this major childhood trauma. Literacy was at the 99% rate in 1910 (3). Immigrants at that time, uneducated and totally poverty-stricken (far below our current standard of "poverty level" ) saw their children become educated, wealthy and successful.
WHAT CHANGED?The difference is that we used to be governed by law based on unchanging absolutes. Today we are governed by the dictates of special interests and the fads of the elite. No security or progress is possible while our laws oscillate madly this way and that. All that the child abuse industry and our related social change agencies have accomplished with their faddish programs is to make us a contender for crime capital of the world. Our old standard of "justice for all" instead of "Health for all" is simple and time-tested. It requires no elaborate, self-interested bureaucracy.
Most of all, it is fair and just.
